With immense joy and happiness I glorify the Lord Almighty for His abundance blessings upon each and every one of us.

I am delighted to communicate through this newly launched website of St. Mary's School, Aurangabad, Bihar. At the onset of this website portal I am happy to extend my heartiest compliments to the Management, Staff, Students, Parents and all the Well Wishers of St. Mary's School, for their fervent efforts to create this website to enhance our ministry of Education for the benefit of the children.

St. Mary's School, Aurangabad, Bihar is administered by the Franciscan Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Pondicherry. The Congregation was founded on 16th October, 1844 at Pondicherry by Servant of God Louis Savinien Dupius MEP, a French Missionary. In the 19th century, women were considered as Slaves to men and Secondary Citizens in India. The education of women was much neglected. So, our Founder was convinced that promoting the Education of Women was the only way to nurture the Dignity of Women and to raise the Standard of the Families. Thus, he founded our Congregation to educate the Girl Children.

Therefore, based on the Vision and Mission of our Congregation, good numbers of Schools were established to empower women through education. As per the signs of the times the Co-education Schools were established to fulfil the needs of the society. Today our service to the humanity is extended worldwide.

At this juncture my heart is filled with awe and with great sense of gratitude to God for His tremendous blessings upon St. Mary's School ever since the School was established.

Initially, we began with Health Care Ministry among the poor and marginalized; then we expanded our ministry by establishing St. Mary's School in the year 2005 for the holistic growth and development of young minds. As the School was growing in all spheres, the Upper Primary Branch up to Standard Eight was opened in a place called Dehri-Poiwan, Aurangabad, Bihar with a well-built infrastructure and technology.

I am very much pleased to express that St. Mary's School offers quality education through great learning experience and opportunities. The Principal, Sisters and the Staff of St. Mary's are gifted with new ideas, innovative skills and talents. They inspire students to do ordinary things in an extra-ordinary way. I appreciate the good values that underpin all that it does in a supportive and caring environment. It focuses on literacy, units of inquiry and transmitting life skills to the learners in order to thrive in all walks of life.

The experience of School continues to play a vital role in the lives of the young generation and will determine their academic, social and probably their occupational future.

On behalf of the Congregation I register my sincere appreciation and thankfulness to the Principal, sisters, teaching and non-teaching staff who had and have been rendering their selfless service to instil good values and knowledge in the minds of children. Also, I significantly acknowledge the great service of the guardians and parents for the growth of this Institution. I congratulate all the stalwarts who won awards and prizes for their great performance in the academic, curricular and co-curricular activities that brought laurels to the School.

I applaud and appreciate the Provincial and Councillors of Assisi Province for their unceasing effort to establish and develop this Educational Institution in Aurangabad, Bihar in order to mould young lives through Education.

May the Patroness of the School - our Blessed Mother and our Founder Father, intercede to the Lord Almighty to shower His blessings in abundance upon the School. May God continue to lead the School and every one of you towards success in the forthcoming years!
